Fourteen films in seven days! A highlight: the Campus hosts the first-time-ever
screening of Doing Time: Life Inside the Big House, the Academy-Award
nominated film about the Lewisburg Penitentiary, followed by a Q &
A with the director. 300 people attend!

Grand Re-Opening!
After being "down and out" for two months the Campus holds
a big Grand Re-Opening Bash featuring great wine from Orfila Winery
and fabulous food from area restaurants.
Almost 200 people got decked out in their finest to come support our
beautiful downtown landmark.

"Teen-Cine"
The Campus partners with the Union County Library and Arbour Media to
hold workshops to teach high-school students how to make their own movies.

"Susquehanna Shorts," the area's first short film
festival to honor independent filmmakers premieres at the Campus Theatre.
The films submitted are even better than expected! The judges award
over $2000 in prize money.

Rick Benjamin's world-renowned Paragon Ragtime Orchestra
performs the original score to Charlie Chaplin and Harold Lloyd silent
comedy classics. As usual, the event packs the house!

WVIA premieres its original documentary on the historic
post offices of the area. Hundreds of people attend. The Campus, in
conjunction with the Susquehanna Valley Visitor's Bureau, hosts an amazing
reception afterward.

Oscar Night America!! For the first time in its history,
the Campus is chosen by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences
to host a live telecast of the Academy Awards (one of only fifty chosen
venues across the country!). Everyone feels like a star during this
truly unforgettable night!
